Desire to be Free

Last Friday I wrote about a wonderful, Oscar winning film from Germany. Let’s keep with that theme and look at another film out of Europe’s largest economy. Today’s film also focuses on the time when there were two Germanys and in the individual’s desire to escape the oppression of the East. A fantastic film about the irrepressible human spirit and the lengths that some will go to experience their own life. A powerful movie that you might have missed!
