An Actual Dramedy

Many films are called "Dramedy" because they want you to believe that the film is both a comedy and a drama. It’s an appeal to a bigger audience and, therefore, more bucks for the studio. This film is one of the few films that honestly deserves the title. You will be laughing during many scenes and then your heartstrings will be pulled in others. This is a film for everyone who likes movies. Henry Fonda, James Cagney, Jack Lemmon and William Powell. Great Cast! Directed by John Ford and Mervyn LeRoy. Fantastic Directors! Based upon the hit Broadway play written by Joshua Logan and Thomas Heggen. Great Script! All that talent shows up on the screen each time I watch this great movie. It is funny and sad. All in a movie that you might have missed!
